From the United States to the Netherlands: Nevil, The Seed Bank and Sensi Seeds
The international spread of Northern Lights is closely connected to Dutch seedbank development during the 1980s. Genetics from the American Northern Lights population reached Nevil Schoenmakers and The Seed Bank of Holland. Individual lines were preserved, combined and made available through commercial seed programmes.
After The Seed Bank became part of the later Sensi context, Northern Lights remained a core reference. Sensi Seeds describes its current line as originating in the United States and being further developed in the Netherlands through Afghan and Thai genetics.
