Amherst Sour Diesel by Humboldt Seed Organization
Amherst Sour Diesel is a feminized Diesel line from Humboldt Seed Organization, made from Chemdawg and Amherst Super Skunk. It is not a small plant in the room. With 80 percent sativa and 20 percent indica, it tends to push upward, build strong side growth and ask for space early.
Letting this variety run too freely can create more correction work later. Indoors, a shorter vegetative phase makes sense because Amherst Sour Diesel can still move strongly after the switch. SCROG, topping or clear canopy management fit the plant better than trying to pull the height back late.
Indoor flowering is listed at 65 to 70 days. Outdoors, harvest is placed in late October, with height at 2 to 3 metres and a large yield range of 2000 to 3000 grams per plant. This is a variety for space, light and a season that can carry it cleanly into the later part of October.
Humboldt Seed Organization lists indoor yield at 400 to 600 grams per square metre. THC is given at 27 percent, with CBD at 0.1 percent. Those figures frame the variety clearly enough without turning them into an effect based story.
The profile sits firmly in the Diesel field, with ripe fruit, oil, tropical fruit and exotic wood. Depending on the plant, more Chemdawg sharpness or more Super Skunk body can come through, so differences in stretch, flower density, resin coverage and late finish remain part of the line.
