Banana OG by Humboldt Seed Company
Banana OG comes from a different Humboldt corner than the bright fruit rows. The line reaches back to an Emerald Triangle clone from Trinidad and carries that old banana fuel theme into seed form without sanding down the rougher OG core.
Humboldt Seed Company lists the base as Classic Banana OG Clone, Banana OG S1 #21 and Banana OG Bx3. This is not a loose banana cross. It is a backcrossing and selfing project built to bring the original clone direction back into a more consistent seed line. The cultivar stays sativa dominant, but the OG frame is still there.
The plants are described with an upright build, low leaf load and large frosty green colas. Purple flecks can show through, but colour is not the whole story here. The noted resistance to PM and other fungal pressure also matters, especially for OG material where that kind of field steadiness is not always a given.
The photoperiod flowering window sits at 55 to 65 days, with outdoor timing around early October. That does not make Banana OG an ultra early line, but it keeps the season readable. In the HSC catalogue, this one feels closer to Trinidad clone work than to a modern dessert label.
The smell moves through banana taffy, fuel and a green OG bite. The listed 25 percent THC stays here as cultivar data only. What defines Banana OG is the mix of clone heritage, upright frame, frosty cola set and dry banana gas pull that separates it from softer fruit lines.
