Banana Purple Punch Auto RF3 is a feminised autoflowering cultivar developed through a dedicated Reversed-F3 breeding process. The RF3 designation refers to the third filial generation created by repeatedly crossing a reversed female parent back into the same genetic line. The starting point for this work was Banana Purple Punch Auto in an advanced F5 stage.
The objective of this reversed-F3 development was to further stabilise key traits such as colour expression, flower structure and aromatic characteristics while achieving a high level of uniformity across the population. Rather than introducing new genetics, this process focuses on intraline refinement with clearly defined selection goals.
Growth characteristics and plant structure
Banana Purple Punch Auto RF3 displays a vigorous autoflowering growth pattern with strong lateral branching. Plants reach a medium to larger size and develop a sturdy, supportive structure. Internodal spacing remains well controlled, allowing flowers to stack evenly along the branches.
Thanks to the reversed-F3 selection, the cultivar shows a high degree of consistency and tolerance across different growing conditions. It performs well with moderate feeding and does not require complex training to achieve a balanced plant architecture. Light structural adjustments to improve airflow can be beneficial but are not essential.
