Bloody Skunk Auto by Sweet Seeds
Bloody Skunk Auto is not built around dark color alone. Its main pull comes from a clearly skunk driven core. The cultivar combines Sweet Skunk Auto with a selected Red Poison Auto line, creating a Red Family auto that stands out visually while carrying more aromatic weight and more depth than purple lines driven only by sweetness.
In growth, the plant stays compact to medium in height and forms a collected frame with a supportive central stem and side branches that connect cleanly. It does not spread in a wide or unruly way. The overall shape stays gathered and forms quickly, which suits the automatic cycle well and keeps the later flower mass close to the frame.
Sweet Seeds lists Bloody Skunk Auto as part of the Red Family. Plants reach 60 to 110 cm and complete their full cycle in around 56 days from germination. The breeder reports 350 to 550 g per m² indoors and 35 to 175 g per plant outdoors. Around 95 percent of the plants develop red or purple flowers.
The aroma opens with a deep skunk tone, followed by a sweet layer that rounds the profile without softening it too much. That is what separates Bloody Skunk Auto from lines built almost entirely around fruit or candy notes. Here, sweetness stays in a supporting role, while the skunk core leads and gives the dark visual side a matching aromatic weight.
The line keeps its identity even when individual plants vary somewhat in color intensity. Some bring the red purple finish forward earlier, while others hold it back for longer. What matters in the finished picture is the combination of compact auto form, dark flower coloration, and a skunk led expression with sweetness underneath rather than above it.
Bloody Skunk Auto received second place in the Autoflowering category at the III Copa Cannábica Expogrow in Irún in 2014. It later earned third place in the Indica category at the II Copa Farallones in Santiago de Cali in 2017.
