California Haze by Humboldt Seed Company
California Haze is Humboldt Seed Company’s take on an old Haze shape, but filtered through California field selection. The plant keeps the tall spear like outline, while the flowers are pushed denser and the season lands in a tighter window than many classic Haze lines.
The parent line of California Haze x Original Haze x Arcata Trainwreck gives the cultivar its backbone. Original Haze brings the long sativa heritage, while Arcata Trainwreck adds California pressure, flower density and a sharper local edge. This is not a nostalgia piece. It is Haze rebuilt with Humboldt material in the frame.
HSC lists California Haze with 67 days of flowering. The outdoor window runs from around October 1 to October 10. For Haze material, that timing matters. The line stays tall and clearly sativa dominant without dragging the plant into a loose late season category.
The plant is defined by height, spear colas and firmer flower formation than older airy Haze types. HSC also marks California Haze as highly disease resistant. That fits the breeding idea well: more density, more field reliability and still enough vertical Haze character to keep the line honest.
The scent moves through citrus, pine and bright sweetness. The listed 25 to 27 percent THC remains cultivar data only. For Cannoptikum, California Haze reads as a modern Humboldt sativa with Original Haze core, Arcata Trainwreck structure and enough field edge to be more than a classic name in new packaging.
