5G by Soma Seeds
5G by Soma Seeds is a feminized, photoperiod cannabis strain where Soma takes an already modern 4G base and bends it into his own Lavender direction. The starting point combines Gelato #45, Gorilla Glue #4 and Girl Scout Cookies, then adds Lavender OG. That keeps the strain from reading as a plain US dessert line and gives it a more distinctly Soma shaped aromatic layer.
The plant is mainly defined by its tight cola structure. 5G does not build like an airy Haze frame, but through denser flower zones, good stacking and a firmer overall setup. This is where the Lavender OG side matters: it does not only change the profile, but gives the strain more depth and a different aromatic outline than the 4G base would have on its own.
Flowering sits at around 8 to 10 weeks. Soma describes the strain as suited for indoor and outdoor growing, with a strong and resilient plant build. With denser flower formation, clean airflow is more useful than unnecessary intervention. The plant should be guided so the main cola and side flower zones receive enough light and space.
With an 80 percent indica and 20 percent sativa classification, 5G stays clearly oriented toward a firmer, flower focused structure. Soma describes the strain through moderate to heavy flower performance, compact quality and resilient development. The focus therefore sits less on maximum figures and more on firm structure, resin expression and clean ripening.
Aromatically, 5G sits between a Gorilla Glue base, Lavender OG and sweet sour Afghani tones. That makes it more interesting within the Soma line than a pure trend cross: the modern 4G block remains visible, but Lavender OG pulls it toward an older, softer Soma direction.
