After 8 OG by Sumo Seeds
After 8 OG stands out mainly through profile. The variety combines an OG led base with Purple Urkel and does not land in a purely classic Kush lane, but in a darker, cooler direction with denser flower formation and a more distinctive aromatic edge.
The Sumo’s OG Kush x Purple Urkel line tends to produce a medium sized to fairly vigorous plant that leans toward firm flower mass rather than loose stretch. Buds usually come in compact and resinous, and depending on expression the plant can also show purple tones in the flowers and foliage.
Flowering generally sits at around 8 to 9 weeks. Indoors, After 8 OG usually stays near 100 to 130 cm, while outdoor plants can reach about 150 to 200 cm. Under good conditions, indoor yield is commonly placed around 450 to 600 g/m², with much higher outdoor output possible. Because of the denser flower structure, a sunny and well ventilated setting makes more sense than a persistently damp environment.
The aromatic direction is clearly carried by chocolate, mint, and earthy notes. That separates the variety from fruitier or purely spicy lines and gives it a more individual place in the range.
In cultivation, After 8 OG makes the most sense when given enough room and allowed to finish cleanly. The core picture remains a productive, indica leaning OG line with compact flower structure, a darker overall profile, and a cool aromatic identity that stays easy to recognize.
