Apple Blossom by Humboldt Seed Company
Apple Blossom does not come across as a loud California hype piece. It feels more like a clean early row from Humboldt Seed Company, with colour, resin and a bright apple flower smell sitting in front of the heavier gas side of the catalogue.
The cross is Blueberry Muffin x Dream Queen. Blueberry Muffin brings the fruit, flower and recognizable HSC terpene pull, while Dream Queen adds size and production. That keeps Apple Blossom light on its feet, but not small or thin.
HSC lists the cultivar as a 50 % indica and 50 % sativa hybrid and places it at F4. The photoperiod flowering time is given as 45 days, with an outdoor window from around September 15 to September 30. That is a short season slot and gives the line a real early finish identity.
The plant is mainly about dense flowers, a clear trichome layer and blue to purple tones that can show more strongly under the right conditions. Dream Queen brings push into the frame, while Blueberry Muffin keeps the flower side more detailed, coloured and scented.
The smell moves toward sweet apple, soft floral notes and a light citrus edge. The listed 26 to 30 percent THC is handled only as cultivar data. Apple Blossom reads as an early, colourful and resin heavy California line with an apple blossom note and practical field timing.
