Auto Malawi x Northern Lights is the first 100% autoflowering variety of ACE Seeds.

Hybrid sativa/indica/rudelaris of excellent vigor and structure, producing a huge and heavy main tail and powerful side branches loaded with well resinous buds, which will surprise for its production and quality to even the most experienced autoflowering growers.

The current improved F4 version of this hybrid produces 2 main phenotypes. The first phenotype (the most interesting in our opinion) produces powerful sativa/indica plants (with a flowering rate of about 9 weeks and a half), of enormous production, extraordinarily complex fruit terpene profiles, abundant resin production and excellent flower/leaf ratio. The second phenotype develops in flowering practically as pure sativa (so it usually needs about 10 weeks of flowering) by acquiring large sizes and a more open and separate branch from the trunk allowing the grower of autoflowering plants to experiment with quite different African phenotypes sativa and rare in today's autoflowering varieties.

The terpene profiles offered by this variety are fragrant and complex. The aromas in flowering can vary from Petit Suisse to strawberry yogurt, and fruit juice aromas (pineapple, pear, peach) in the most productive sativa/indica phenotype. The more extreme Sativa phenotypes are woodier and longer flowering.

• Structure: Vigorous plants, good size and excellent structure of large main tail and strong lateral branching.
• Bouquet: Strawberry yogurt and fruit juice aromas (pineapple, pear, peach), some more woody. Floral, sweet, and resinous flavor, to cereals with honey.
• Effect: It has 3 distinct phases: it begins with a sensory effect, mentally clear, which increases the thoughts; then develops more dense, warm, and dreamy, to finish with a narcotic effect, relaxing and pleasant.

CULTIVATION

As usual with the autoflowering varieties, Auto Malawi x Northern Lights starts to bloom 4 to 5 weeks after germination, regardless of the indoor photoperiod or the time of year outdoors, allowing it to mature correctly at latitudes far away from the equator where photodependent varieties start to flower too late to mature in time. Therefore, it is important to maximize the growing period as much as possible by using from the start, pots of at least 7 litres for indoor cultivation, and at least 15-20 litres for outdoor cultivation.

It can also be grown in mid-latitude climates, so that when it sprouts in spring has just matured in summer, and can benefit in flowering from the longer days, with more the new season will see intense light and warmer temperatures, ahead of the usual autumn harvest in the photodependent varieties.

Excellent adaptability in indoor crops, being able to harvest together with the mothers with  photoperiod of growth, and thus be able to obtain a harvest without having to prepare a separate growing area with different photoperiods, as is the case with the photodependents.

Higher yielding sativa/indica phenotypes require moderate/high levels of nutrients, while the more extreme sativa phenotypes require a gentle feeding. The more productive Sativa/Indica phenotype often needs its tails shored up due to the enormous volume and weight that they reach at the end of flowering.
