Banana Sapphire by Humboldt Seed Organization
Banana Sapphire comes from Banana OG and Sapphire OG and stays clearly on the OG side in the Humboldt Seed Organization range, only with a softer tropical edge. It is a feminized, indica leaning variety, and not a small one by design. Its value sits less in the sweet name and more in the mix of vigorous growth, resinous flower build and a darker gas profile.
In the grow space, Banana Sapphire can put on mass quickly. Thinner fan leaves and useful internode spacing help light reach deeper into the plant without closing the canopy too early. Indoors, that points toward early structure work, clean thinning and canopy management that includes the side growth.
Indoor flowering is listed at 60 to 63 days. Yield figures sit at 450 to 500 grams per square metre, with THC at 23 to 26 percent and CBD at 0.1 percent. Outdoors, the variety belongs more to the larger Humboldt frame, with harvest in early to mid October and strong potential where full sun and a reliable season come together.
Banana Sapphire can handle heat and cool nights, but it should not be treated as a generic robust plant. Large elongated colas and strong flower development still ask for air, space and possible support toward the end. Keeping it too tight can take away part of the line’s natural width.
The profile brings together sharp gas, black pepper, tropical fruit and mango notes. Individual plants may lean more toward the Banana OG side or toward the tarter Sapphire OG direction, so growth, flower density and aromatic weight can vary within the line.
