Big Bud by Nirvana Seeds
With Big Bud by Nirvana Seeds, the first thing to read is the weight of the flower set. The plant develops long side branches, a strong central stem and heavy flower sites that should not simply be left unsupported toward the end.
Indoors, Nirvana places final height mostly around 120 to 150 cm, while outdoor plants can reach roughly 180 cm. The structure is not as tight as a squat Afghan line, because the Skunk side opens the frame with more spacing and better light movement through the plant.
The Afghani, Skunk and Old School Big Bud base gives this cultivar its older production character. Big Bud is built around substance in the flower set and benefits from early guidance, a longer vegetative phase or a screen when the available space should be used more broadly.
Nirvana lists flowering at around 56 to 63 days, with very productive plants sometimes needing slightly more time. Indoor yield is given at up to 500 to 600 grams per square metre; outdoors, large single plant harvests are possible when pot size, stance and support are aligned.
The aroma stays old school in direction: earth, sweetness and floral notes, with a mild skunky depth that is described as more flowery than sharp during bloom. Big Bud is therefore shaped less by delicate line detail and more by large flower points, carrying branches and a frame that should receive space and support early.
