Blue Gelato by Royal Queen Seeds
Blue Gelato is not just another sweet trend cross. Built from Blueberry x Thin Mint GSC x Sunset Sherbet, the line clearly carries modern dessert genetics, but the plant itself sits on a denser, more compact indica leaning frame. Royal Queen Seeds describes a bushy structure with close internodes and solid flower formation. That is what gives the variety real shape.
At 60 to 65 days of flowering, it stays in a window that fits this kind of hybrid well. Indoors, plants usually finish at around 80 to 130 cm, while outdoor specimens tend to reach 150 to 200 cm. It is not tiny, but it is also not a cultivar built around height alone. The main weight sits on density, resin, and a fairly closed plant body.
The output is also part of the point. RQS lists 550 to 600 g per m² indoors and 500 to 600 g per plant outdoors. So Blue Gelato does not read like an aroma only product. It comes across as a modern hybrid that also turns its genetic mix into real flower mass.
The profile explains the rest. Fruit and sweetness are there, but they do not stand alone. Earth, diesel, some vanilla, citrus, and a cooler mint note from the Cookies side keep the line from sliding into sugar only language. That gives Blue Gelato more pressure and a more defined outline than many softer dessert led hybrids.
