Bubblegum XL by Royal Queen Seeds
Bubblegum XL does not need much genetic theatre to make sense. The line works through a fairly simple strength. It stays approachable, builds enough plant to matter, and does not turn its sweeter side into a big performance. Power Plant x Santa Maria does not produce a heavy block here, but neither does it give a thin restless sativa. It reads more like a mid framed hybrid with calm growth and enough substance behind it.
Indoors, Royal Queen Seeds places it at around 80 to 140 cm, while outdoor plants tend to reach 160 to 200 cm. This is not a tiny line, but it is also not something that immediately pushes beyond control. It comes across more as a variety that can be run without much drama as long as light, space, and climate are reasonably in place.
The flowering period stays in a range of 8 to 9 weeks, which keeps the run from feeling either long or rushed. Output is listed at 450 to 500 g per m² indoors and 400 to 450 g per plant outdoors. That does not read like a record chaser, but more like a cultivar built around workable yield and a fairly straightforward cycle.
The profile leans into the familiar bubblegum side, but not through sweetness alone. Candy is there, along with citrus and an earthy underside. That gives the variety a bit more grounding than the name first suggests. On the product page, Bubblegum XL works less as a nostalgia label and more as a plain, solid hybrid with a recognisable direction.
