Chocolope feminized by DNA Genetics
Chocolope, formerly known as D-Line, was created from OG Chocolate Thai and Cannalope Haze. DNA Genetics describes the feminized cross as 95% sativa and 5% indica. Further backcrossing retained the character of Chocolate Thai while considerably shortening the flowering period.
The plants grow tall and develop long lateral branches with large, heavy flowers. Early Low-Stress Training or moderate pruning helps control their height and distribute the canopy more evenly. DNA also presents Chocolope as a straightforward strain that remains accessible to less experienced growers.
Flowering takes 8-9 weeks. DNA Genetics lists an indoor yield of 500-600 g/m². Under suitable outdoor conditions, individual plants may produce up to approximately 907 g. This output and the comparatively short sativa flowering period are two of the strain’s defining cultivation traits.
The aroma opens with earthy sweetness and distinct notes of coffee, cocoa, and pastry. A touch of melon recalls the Cannalope Haze parent, while the darker chocolate character of OG Chocolate Thai remains at the forefront.
