Golden Tiger Regular by ACE Seeds
Golden Tiger Regular by ACE Seeds is a regular variety for growers and breeders who want to work with an uncompromisingly sativa-dominant reference line at the highest ACE level. Within the ACE catalogue, it holds a key position because it brings together several highly potent Thai and Malawi axes, resulting in one of the breeder’s most defining, strongest, and genetically most interesting regular sativa lines.
In cultivation, Golden Tiger shows an elegant, tall, and very strongly branched plant development with fine leaf structure and a clearly tropical sativa architecture. The line is not built for compact routine growing, but for expression, vigour, and high floral output. For growers who want to work with true sativa projects and make full use of both main cola and lateral branch production, Golden Tiger Regular offers an exceptionally strong base for selection and breeding.
With a flowering time of around 11 to 14 weeks, Golden Tiger belongs to the later finishing regular sativa lines in the ACE programme. Yield is considered high. The stated THC range is around 20 to 30 percent, CBD up to 0.5 percent, and CBG up to 1 percent. The variety is recommended for latitudes from 0º to 43º and shows medium resistance to spider mites and powdery mildew, very high resistance to botrytis, average-high resistance to white fly, average-high cold tolerance, and high heat resistance.
One of the defining traits of Golden Tiger Regular is its clear genetic depth. The line is built from Koh Chang Thai, Hmong Thai, Old Malawi Killer, and a third generation Malawi Killer male. For that reason, it is not a simple tropical sativa, but a deliberately constructed high-performance sativa with a clear Thai/Malawi axis, strong resin production, and a very powerful psychoactive presence. It is exactly this genetic function that makes the regular version especially valuable for breeders and selection-focused growers.
Aromatically, Golden Tiger moves in an organic, resinous, and deep direction with spice, wood, and ripe mandarin and lemon. In the terpene profile, very high levels of beta-myrcene stand in the foreground, supported by limonene, linalool, ocimene, isopulegol, and smaller amounts of alpha- and beta-pinene, camphene, and terpinolene. In the sesquiterpene fraction, nerolidol dominates, supported by beta-caryophyllene and smaller trace compounds. Combined with its extremely dense, stimulating, and very long lasting sativa effect, this creates a line that clearly ranks among the strongest regular reference varieties in the ACE programme.
