Granddaddy Purple by Royal Queen Seeds
Granddaddy Purple does not need much mythology to work. The cultivar already explains itself through the way it is built. Purple Urkle x Big Bud produces a firmer indica leaning plant here, with plenty of weight in the flowers and very little tendency to stretch for no reason.
Indoors, it stays within a frame that is still easy to manage. Outside, it builds a bit more without becoming awkward. That is what makes it practical. Not an overloaded specialist line, but a cultivar that moves fairly directly toward dense flowers, workable yield, and a clean overall run.
The flowering phase lasts approximately 55 to 65 days, or eight to ten weeks. Royal Queen Seeds lists indoor yields of 450 to 500g/m² and outdoor yields of 550 to 600g per plant. Granddaddy Purple therefore carries more than colour and a familiar name, offering a solid and clearly defined productive range.
Blueberry and a sweeter fruit side come through clearly, with a little pine behind them. It does not need more than that. Granddaddy Purple works because the purple direction, tighter growth, and solid substance all line up without much noise.
