Grape Ape by Royal Queen Seeds
Grape Ape is not built around stretch, but around density. The variety stays clearly on the heavier side and comes across as something that puts on substance early instead of wasting space on unnecessary extension. That gives it a fairly direct and steady character.
The line traces back to Afghani, Mendocino Purps, and Skunk. You notice that less through any big story and more through the way the plant is put together. Indoors, it stays manageable at around 60 to 100 cm, while outdoor plants can grow much taller without becoming messy. Flowering sits at roughly 50 to 60 days, which keeps the run short enough not to stay open for too long.
The output matches this direction. With 450 to 500g/m² indoors and 500 to 600g per plant outdoors, Grape Ape delivers a solid productive range. The strain therefore carries more than its name and aromatic profile, combining compact, substantial growth with an efficient flowering schedule.
Blueberry, sweetness, earth, and that skunky pull are enough to place the line properly. It does not need more than that. Because of this, Grape Ape reads less like a purple or fruit named line that lives on branding alone and more like a firm indica led cultivar with a clear direction and real weight in the overall build.
