Headbanger by Cali Weed
Headbanger by Cali Weed should not automatically be treated as the same line as every well-known Headbanger strain. This version is not built around Sour Diesel x Biker Kush, but around Amherst Sour Diesel x Bubba Kush 2.0. That difference matters: the variety stays clearly in the Diesel and Kush family, but it works through its own Cali Weed combination.
Amherst Sour Diesel brings the longer, sourer and more sativa leaning side into the cross. That line is known for strong growth, Diesel sharpness, fruit and a more open structure. Bubba Kush 2.0 works in the opposite direction: denser flower body, more Kush depth and a more compact counterweight to the Sour Diesel movement. The character of this Headbanger version sits exactly in that tension.
Flowering takes around 10 to 12 weeks, or roughly 75 to 85 days. That makes Headbanger anything but a quick finisher. Indoors, the plant should be placed into the area early, because the Sour Diesel side can bring length and movement. If the structure is organised too late, the run becomes harder than necessary, especially once the Bubba side starts adding denser flowers.
In plant shape, Headbanger is better read as a sativa dominant hybrid with a Kush counterweight. It can show more height and side development than compact indica lines, while Bubba Kush 2.0 adds firmer flower zones. An open canopy, air between the branches and enough light on the side areas matter more than a tight setup.
The profile should stay dry and direct: Sour Diesel, citrus, earth, Kush spice and a heavier base from the Bubba side. Headbanger by Cali Weed is not just a hype strain with a big name, but a feminized Amherst Sour Diesel x Bubba Kush 2.0 line with a longer flowering window, Diesel drive and a denser Kush underside.
