Lavender OG by Soma Seeds
Back in the late nineties, Soma conducted various breeding experiments, and one of the remarkable plants that emerged was Soma Skunk nr 10. As more people tried this genetic treasure, the leaves began to display stunning black and purple hues. Soma decided to rename it Lavender. In 2005, Lavender achieved the prestigious first prize at the High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam, marking the beginning of its journey as a multi-award-winning strain (including Spannabis 2017).
Soma had an old friend who had a deep love for cultivating Lavender. He consistently excelled at it. Soma's friend Joe took a female True OG Kush plant that Soma had been keeping for some time and reversed it for breeding purposes.
This connection with Joe, who sadly passed away a few years ago, adds a heartfelt dimension to Lavender OG for Soma. It brings a smile to their faces. Cultivating this cannabis isn't overly challenging. If you supercrop the main top, the side branches quickly follow suit. It's known for producing exquisite hash with a rich terpene profile featuring lavender and OG flavors.
Lavender OG also made its mark in cannabis competitions. At the Clouds in the City Cup in Amsterdam, it secured third prize for the best indica and an impressive second place for the best water hash.
