Malawi Gold
comes from Malawi, a country in south-east Africa and is one of the most psychoactive land races in the world. In the local language it is called Chamba and grows in the north of the country on a 1200m high plateau. In this subtropical region not a single drop of water falls for 6 months, but from November to April the rainy season determines the climate. During this time the Malawi gold blooms and has an extreme mold resistance due to the hot and humid climate. Chamba, or Malawi gold, is the country's number 1 export product alongside chomba (tea) and chambo (fish). Malawi Gold from Anesia Seeds is only a generation away from the original strain and has all the characteristics of the Queen of Africa.

This pure sativa can be grown both indoors and outdoors and is very easy to grow. In the grow room, due to the extreme growth, the flowering phase should be initiated just a few days after germination and the plants should be grown as a ScrOG (Screen of Green). Malawi Gold has a flowering time of 10-13 weeks indoors, outdoors it can be harvested from late October to early November and, because of its origin, also tolerates rain showers and humid climates very well. The yields are 600-650g per m² for indoor growing, outdoors or in a greenhouse over 800g per plant can be harvested.
It has a very fruity and peppery smell and has a very sweet taste that is reminiscent of ripe pineapple. The effects of the Malawi Gold are extremely psychoactive and last several hours. It should therefore only be consumed by experienced smokers who are used to heavy sativas. Malawi Gold should never be consumed with alcohol!
