Green Mango Kush by Sumo Seeds
The name actually points straight at the core of this variety. Green Mango Kush pushes the sweet fruit side of the older Green Mango further forward, but sets it on a clearly Kush based frame. Because of that, it does not slide into pure tropical sweetness or into heavy earthiness, but holds both sides together quite tightly.
Sumo Seeds builds it from Green Mango and Sumo’s OG Kush. The result is a clearly indica leaning line at roughly 80 to 20, yet it does not grow like a blunt and overly broad plant. Indoors it stays fairly compact, while outdoor plants can stretch much further depending on setup and root space.
On timing, Green Mango Kush plays one of its stronger cards quite directly. Eight to nine weeks of flowering is a quick window for this kind of profile, and outdoor harvest is usually placed around early October. That makes it faster than many later Kush types without pushing the variety into a thin or rushed structure.
Yield sits in a solid range. Indoor figures are usually listed at around 400 to 500 grams per square metre, while outdoor plants are commonly placed at about 550 to 750 grams per plant. The structure also carries several side branches and dense flowers that do not break up loosely, but run through the plant in a more even way.
On the profile side, mango is clearly out front, but not alone. Sweet fruit, a tropical pull and a Kush toned underside give the variety more weight than many simpler fruit lines. That mix of compact indoor growth, early October finish and sweet Mango Kush character is what gives Green Mango Kush enough identity to avoid reading like a generic flavour first release.
