Orange Bud 2.0 by Dutch Passion
Orange Bud 2.0 does not sit in the shadow of the original, but pushes the orange line into a more modern direction on purpose. It keeps the familiar citrus core firmly in place, yet feels denser, broader in profile and a little more forceful overall than the older Orange Bud. That is exactly where its own place begins.
The cross of Orange Bud and Mimosa explains why the aromatic picture moves forward so directly. Orange and mandarin remain the main carriers, but they gain more juice, more shine and a little more modern fruit fullness. That keeps the variety from becoming generically sweet and gives it a very clear direction instead.
In growth, Orange Bud 2.0 stays on the more compact and manageable side. The plant does not build a huge frame, but focuses more on firm resin rich flowers and a clean, relatively fast finish. Because of that, it feels more self contained than looser citrus lines and holds more of its energy in the flower body.
With around 8 to 9 weeks of flowering, the cycle stays tight. That suits a variety that does not depend on long stretch or complicated handling, but on a very clear profile and dense flower quality. A THC level around 20 percent adds enough pressure without needing to become the whole point of the line.
