Panama Red
comes from the Central American country, which is world famous for its canal. In the 1960s, however, it was this landrace, notorious for its high THC content, that began its unstoppable triumph in the United States. With the more lucrative cocaine trade, this red-flowered sativa has been forgotten, but it has remained a highly valued, rarely available strain among cannabis lovers around the world.
Panama Red can be grown very well indoors, but it develops its full potential in organic outdoor growing. For a sativa near the equator, it flowers relatively short at 10-12 weeks and can be harvested when growing outdoors in mid-October. When growing indoors, you should pay attention to high humidity and supply it with moderate nutrients. Panama Red gets beautiful, dark red flowers and delivers yields of 550-600g per m². In the greenhouse or outdoor growing, even 750g per plant can be achieved.
