Squirt by Humboldt Seed Company
Squirt may look like a terpene strain at first, but its real weight comes from the Humboldt Seed Company Mega Hunt. BBM x Tang Number 118 stood out in a 10,000 plant field and was then worked forward through the preservation library rather than simply released as found material.
The cultivar is more about chemotype than fixed colour. Anthocyanin expression can vary, so green and purple plants are both part of the range. The more important point is the steadier mono and sesquiterpene side, because that is where the Squirt signature actually sits.
BBM x Tang Number 118 brings Blueberry Muffin background together with Tangie sharpness. The Muffin side adds softer berry base and HSC steadiness, while Tangie pulls the line into a brighter sour citrus direction. The result is sativa dominant, but not loose or thin. It is worked around terpene persistence and clear grapefruit tension.
At around 50 days of flowering, with outdoor maturity from September 20 to October 5, Squirt stays very early on the calendar. For an 80 percent sativa line, that is a serious advantage because colour, citrus expression and resin surface do not need to wait for late fall.
Sweet and tart grapefruit describes the cultivar better than any extractor slogan. Squirt remains a fast, bright Humboldt line with pheno hunt origin, variable purple expression and a chemotype that says more through lasting terpene presence than simple volume.
