The line was first found by HendRx Farms, put through The Grow Off 2020 under different gardens, and later brought into seed form by HSC. That gives it a real track record before it ever becomes a pack on a shelf.
The parent line is Blueberry Muffin x Wedding Cake. Blueberry Muffin brings the known HSC berry side and a tight IBL base, while Wedding Cake adds flower weight, resin and more pressure in the bud set. As an S1, some variation can remain, but HSC points to the Muffin terpenes as the part that tends to stay loud.
At 60 days of flowering, with an outdoor window from October 10 to October 20, Blueberry Cupcake sits later than the fastest Blueberry entries. That timing gives the plant room to build mass, lateral push and a coated surface. HendRx describes the original clone with strong side growth and wider internodal spacing, which fits the larger frame behind this seed line.
The flower direction moves through cake batter, blueberries and a small fuel mark. The useful part is the tension between the sweet Muffin base and the drier Cake pull. That is where Blueberry Cupcake separates from Blueberry Muffin: more body, more bakery depth, more resin weight, less straight berry clarity.
