Banana Mango by Humboldt Seed Company
Banana Mango comes from the brighter tropical side of Humboldt Seed Company. The line was almost called Humboldt Smoothie, and that makes sense once banana and mango take the front seat on a plant that can grow large and carry real weight.
The parent base brings together Mango Trees, Banana OG and Blueberry Muffin. That gives the cultivar three different HSC pulls: tropical fruit, creamy banana and the resin rich Muffin side. The result stays sweet and fruit led without turning into a thin label driven hybrid.
HSC lists Banana Mango as an F4 with 25 % indica and 75 % sativa background. Flowering is given at 55 days, with the outdoor window running from around September 25 to October 10. That places it in a defined late season slot without pushing too far into fall.
The plant is mostly about size, drive and dense flower mass. HSC notes powdery mildew tolerance, but also warns that mold can show toward the end of the season. With flowers this tight, Banana Mango is not a loose display plant. It asks for air around the flower sites and enough room for the frame to carry itself.
The scent moves through banana, mango and tropical fruit, with a small terpinolene trace in the back. The listed around 22 percent THC remains cultivar data only. In the HSC catalogue, Banana Mango reads as a large tropical field row with resin, density and a clear fruit driven California character.
