AK 47 regular by Serious Seeds
AK 47 does not stay memorable because of the name, but because of how tightly it brings several opposites together. It carries a clearly sativa leaning line, yet finishes in a shorter and more compact way than that background would suggest. That is where the real core of the variety sits.
Indoors, it usually finishes in about eight to nine weeks, which places it well ahead of many longer sativa hybrids. At the same time, indoor yield is commonly set around 350 to 600 grams per square metre. So the variety is not only about pace, but also about holding enough mass in the flowers while moving through a relatively short cycle.
The structure stays medium in height, but it does not feel narrow or restless. AK 47 builds with strength, stretches noticeably after the switch, and ends with compact buds, little leaf and a visible resin coat. That mix of stretch and firm flower structure is one of the traits that gives the regular line its shape.
Outdoors, harvest usually lands around mid to late October. Even there, the variety does not behave like a pure long runner, but keeps its timing under control. That suits a plant that shows its sativa pull in the frame without pushing the finish unnecessarily far back.
On the profile side, AK 47 stays forceful and spicy, but bright enough not to turn dull. The smell is repeatedly described as very strong, with fruity, lightly citrus and skunk toned notes. That is why the variety does not live from history alone, but from the way it holds yield, resin, a shorter flowering window and a clear AK signature unusually close together.
